Youth Ministry

Growing Together in Faith, Friendship, and Christ

"Let no one despise your youth, but set the believers an example in speech, conduct, love, faith, and purity."
— 1 Timothy 4:12

High school is a time of growth, questions, and discovering who God created us to be. The St. Rita Youth Ministry invites teens to deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ, strengthen their understanding of the Catholic faith, and build lasting friendships within a welcoming parish community.

Whether preparing for Confirmation, exploring Scripture, serving others, or simply asking life's big questions, our goal is to help every young person become a confident disciple of Christ.

Our Mission

Encounter Christ. Grow in Faith. Live the Gospel.

Youth Ministry exists to help high school students encounter Jesus Christ and grow as lifelong disciples. Through prayer, authentic Catholic teaching, fellowship, and service, we encourage teens to discover the joy of living their faith and sharing it with others.

We strive to create a welcoming environment where every teen is known, valued, and encouraged to grow closer to Christ while building friendships rooted in faith.

What to Expect

Every Youth Ministry gathering is an opportunity to grow in faith while having fun and building community.

Students will:

  • Deepen their relationship with Jesus Christ through prayer and the Sacraments.
  • Learn the teachings of the Catholic Church through engaging discussions and Scripture.
  • Build lasting friendships with other Catholic teens.
  • Participate in service projects and parish life.
  • Grow as leaders prepared to share their faith with others.

No matter where you are on your faith journey, you are welcome here.

Family Matters

Parents are the primary educators of their children's faith, and Youth Ministry is here to support that important role.

We encourage families to participate in Sunday Mass together, continue conversations about faith at home, and remain actively involved in parish life. By working together, we can help our teens grow into faithful disciples of Jesus Christ.
